STUDY FINDS 100% OF IRISH MUSICIANS DON'T GIVE A SHITE ABOUT THE GENERAL ELECTION

A study obtained by The Drone has shown that 100% of Irish musicians around the country couldn't give 'two shites' about the general election.

The report, conducted over the course of a pint, asked whether Irish musicians really cared about who ran the country. But when questioned on their thoughts, the majority of musicians simply referred to the candidates as 'a bunch of bastards'.

Irish musicians' distaste for the establishment was always well known but this report sheds new light on their hatred of all things 'bourgeoisie' in Irish life. One local musician told us of his attitude.

"Sure they don't give a shite about us so we don't give a shite about them! It's a mutual sort of relationship. They're always taking money out of the arts but they still wheel us out when they want to impress some foreigner."

"A bunch of bastards! Not worth the steam o' yer pish! That's our official line. Ask anyone around the country and that's what they'll say. I'd rather spend the time in the pub playing a few tunes, making the most of my dole money. Onwards and upwards I say!"

The study also showed the things that Irish musicians care about more than the election which included whether they get free pints during their gigs.
