In yet another case of mistaken or unmistaken identity, conspiracy theorists are claiming that renowned traditional Irish singer Iarla O'Lionaird and Donald Trump's Senior Advisor Stephen Miller are actually the same person.

In an exclusive interview with leader of the conspiracy theorists Martin Hayes, he claims that Iarla has been regularly ducking out of The Gloaming sound checks for days at a time and went so far as to question, "Have you ever seen Iarla and Miller in the same room? No. No you have not."

Hayes told The Drone that O'Lionaird has been spending a lot more time on his phone than normal since Trump became President and that sound checks and practises for The Gloaming have become a farce.

"Every time we get into a rhythm, Iarla checks his phone and then excuses himself to go to the bathroom. Then we don't see him for days! When he comes back he always has a bit of a tan on him."

"Talking to him is different too. He's more defensive and talks very officially now, using terms like 'alternative facts' and 'voter fraud'. He watches a lot of Fox news too which is strange."

The fiddler from Tulla went on to say that he was shocked to see Iarla appear on a number of American news channels discussing Trump's policies: "My suspicions arose after I watched an interview on US television with a man called Stephen Miller who was clearly Iarla O'Lionaird. I mean, look at the hairline, the cheekbones, the shape of the jaw. There's no denying it."

The Gloaming are now confirmed to play in the White House on St. Patrick's Day, a concert which Hayes says must have been arranged by O'Lionard/Miller as the group knew nothing about it until Miller was seen discussing it on national television.

"I don't know what we're going to do. We all hate Trump. Iarla always said he did too. I don't know who to trust anymore. I'm going to have to wear my tinfoil hat any time he's around from now on. You don't know who could be listening in."
